Everyday Specials at an Everyday Price

Our dental specials are the everyday prices for a first visit at any of our 30 offices in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and New Jersey. They aren’t limited-time promotions. We keep them so cost is never the reason someone puts off seeing a dentist. Below is what each one includes and how to use it.

The $57 new patient visit

For anyone who hasn’t been to a dentist in a while, or is new to Dr. Dental. The visit includes a professional cleaning by a hygienist, bitewing x-rays, a full exam by the dentist and a written treatment plan if anything needs attention. Billed at regular fees, the same visit is $222. There’s nothing to sign up for, and the price doesn’t expire. Call any office or book online and ask for the new patient cleaning. The $25 look-and-see

For a specific problem: a toothache, a chipped tooth, a filling that fell out, a sore spot. The dentist examines the area, takes periapical x-rays (the kind that show the whole tooth and root), and gives you a treatment plan with the price of the fix before anything starts. How braces from $137 a month work

At Dr. Dental offices with an orthodontist on staff, braces and Invisalign start at $137 a month on a monthly payment plan, for children, teens and adults. No referral is needed, and you can start with a free online smile assessment from your phone. The office list and details are on our braces and Invisalign page.

Dental specials and insurance

Most dental plans already cover cleanings, exams and x-rays in full, so insured patients usually don’t need the $57 special. We bill your plan, and you pay nothing for the preventive visit. We accept MassHealth at all 15 Massachusetts offices, HUSKY at all 10 Connecticut offices, NH Medicaid in Manchester, NH, and most major plans everywhere, including Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MetLife, Cigna, Aetna, Altus, Humana, Guardian, Principal, Ameritas, Assurant, Sun Life, United Concordia and Connection Dental. Paying for treatment beyond the first visit

If the exam finds work to do, your treatment plan lists each procedure with its price. Bigger plans can be spread out over monthly payments, including through CareCredit. Common questions about our specials

Is the $57 cleaning really $57?

Yes. It includes the cleaning, bitewing x-rays, the dentist’s exam and a treatment plan. If the dentist finds that you need a deep cleaning instead of a standard one, we’ll explain why and give you the price before doing anything different.

Can I use the $25 look-and-see for an emergency?

Yes, that’s what it’s for. It covers one problem area, x-rays of that tooth and a written price for treatment. Call the office first so they can fit you in.

Which offices offer braces for $137 a month?

Any Dr. Dental office with an orthodontist on staff. The current list, with addresses and phone numbers, is on our braces and Invisalign page.

Do the specials expire?

No. They’re our standard new patient prices at every office.

Can I use a special if I have insurance?

If your plan covers preventive care, we’ll bill your insurance for the cleaning and exam instead, which usually costs you nothing. The specials are mainly for patients paying out of pocket. Call your office if you’re not sure which is better for you.
