5 Farmers Markets You Must Visit For a Healthy Smile

Sunny days and warm nights on the deck. Grilling and chilling. It’s that time of year and we think nothing says summer quite like a farmers’ market. Not only do markets provide a healthy and inexpensive alternative to typical grocery store shopping, but we also love the fact that many foods you can find there are tooth-friendly. For example, did you know foods like apples and celery work as natural tooth exfoliators and help to prevent stains?

Cambridge/Kendall Square Farmers’ Market

Wednesdays, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. | May – October

If you happen to be near MIT, and it happens to be a Wednesday, skip the grocery store and shop at this fabulous farmers’ market. You can get your standard produce and also indulge in fresh bread, specialty sauces, gourmet potato chips, maple syrup, nuts, cheese, cookies and more. SoWa Open Market

Celebrating its 10th year, the SoWa Open Market® is THE place to be on Sundays. Manchester Farmers’ Market

Thursdays, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. | June – October

The Downtown Manchester Farmers Market is a unique and exciting community event. Every Thursday, more than 25 vendors bring their best New Hampshire produce, meat, cut flowers, baked goods, specialty foods, certified organic produce and other unique products to the heart of Manchester.
